Once again you've put your keen and penetrating mind to the task and as usual come to the wrong conclusion.

Well, as of today the movie is playing at North Oaks Cinema 6 (which happens to be a dollar theater). For the past month or so it had only been showing at theaters in Houston that I had already been to see it, so now the door is open for #6 in a new location. Which is excellent. It's also at the Carkmike Cinemas Northloop 6 in Longview (another $1 theater) so I might make it #7 if I make it up there in the next month or so. I don't really know how long they hold movies there.

Sadly enough, I wouldn't mind owning those Bloomsbury Adult Editions. The cover I posted is from the paperback, and the hardcover version has a slightly different cover with the HARRY POTTER emphasized rather than the specific title, I can't decide which I like better. There's actually a completely different set of adult editions as well and I don't like them nearly as much. Check out the Buckbeak on this cover. I'm glad the creative team behind the film had more imagination than whoever photoshopped that lame eagle/horse combination. They nailed it in the movie. That is all.

Links Aplenty!

Well, stuff has happened, Mr. Blog. [I will never again address this blog as an actual person]

My internship at this company ended on August 12.
I officialy graduated from this school on August 13.
Amy and I bought a bed, couch, and ottoman at this store.
We moved into this apartment* on August 17.
I went to this waterpark on August 21.
I started working at W.D. Von Gonten & Co. on Aug 23. It's on the 8th floor of this building. It's old. So is this postcard. I have to wear a tie. I don't feel old enough to wear a tie everyday to work. I feel sharp though.
I bought a couple of blazers at this store. I still need to get another suit.
I've had this tv since February. And now after six months I got this receiver (the 811, and I didn't buy it, it came as a free upgrade with the Dish Network service.) so I can finally have HD. I feel like I wasted the first six months of the television's life.
Next up is one of these little guys so I can hook up the Tivo through my computer instead of the phone line.
Oh, and we had to get a new phone line for the apartment because being on the ground floor of a three-story building surrounded by trees means neither this nor this gets any kind of reception.
Also, the Prelude seems to be getting smaller and smaller so we'll likely be purchasing either this or this before the end of the weekend.

This is by far the most expensive my life has ever been. And that's not even including the student loan payments I have to start making as well. Shee-esh. You know that Bob guy on the debt reduction commercial?

My name's Bob... I have a house... a great family...
Like the car? Its new...
I even belong to the local golf club...
How do I do it?...
I'm in debt up to my eyeballs!

I relate to that guy.

Ok, that's a lot of thisses.
Most informative post ever, huh Mr. Blog?
Whoops, dang it.

*I couldn't find a link for the apartment complex but it's The Paramount at Kingwood.
