I feel the need to clarify. I've been asked if I'd overlooked the television genius that was Step By Step, since it wasn't included in the list of other shows that aired as part of the mix in later years. I certainly didn't forget, it's just that I simply didn't realize it wasn't in that last paragraph. The woman that asked the question on tvguide's website thought that the original lineup included Full House, Step by Step, Family Matters, and then a fourth show. That woman is obviously an idiot. I knew her question was inaccurate but I was still interested in the answer. Here's a more complete version of the Q&A:
Q: I was wondering if you could tell me what the fourth show on ABC's "TGIF" was. It was the early to mid '90s and the other shows on with it were Full House, Step by Step and Family Matters. I have been trying to think of the fourth show, and it's driving me crazy...
A: To answer your question, as far as I know, Full House, Step by Step and Family Matters were never in ABC's "TGIF" lineup at the same time. The combos of half-hour shows that included Full House were (starting at 8 pm): Full House, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, Just the Ten of Us...
So you see, I had just cut and pasted portions of that and didn't realize Step By Step had been omitted. I apologize for the confusion, and kudos to those who recognized the omission.
