Of liquid consistency
My son Jack, who is a baby, wears diapers. And like most babies, Jack is wont to fill that diaper with baby poop. Oftentimes it is readily clear that Jack is in the process of converting his diaper from empty to full. And if you think that Amy likes it when I say "Jack is making some crap soup" then you could not be more wrong.

Now that I think about it, your specific wording—"converting his diaper from empty to full"—gives me an idea we must pursue with extreme predjudice. With the advent of that American Inventor show, we should build a prototype diaper that has a poop gauge (a la the fuel gauge on a car) that is able to indicate the fullness or emptiness of a diaper.
I, for one, am tired of expending the time and effort to check Alyse's diaper, only to find nothing there.
This we must do.
