What am I doing?
I'm calling this my "What-am-I-doing post" and I'm posting it because this is my blog and you can't stop me. It's 10:00 pm Mountain Time and I'm sitting on my bed with the laptop on top of my lap (as it was destined). I'm watching the Cardinals and Astros play in the top of the 12th inning with the score tied at 5. Amy's at the computer desk doing something song-related. Jack's asleep in his crib in his room. Today we drove to Westminster (Colorado), ate at Boston Market, and I bought a paperback copy of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I've never read the complete Narnia series (only TLTWATW, cool people use acronyms) and I've decided to change that. I read The Magician's Nephew last weekend. But this post is straying from its "What-am-I-doing" theme. So I'll end it.
Cardinals just went up 7-5. Sweet.

I was wondering how long it would take before you started waving your fancy "Mountain Time" in our faces.
I'll say good day to you, kind sir.
Man, Mountain Time is great. It's laid back like Pacific Time, while still maintaining some of the "Hurry up, let's go" attitude of the Central Time Zone. It's the best of both worlds!
On next week's episode of "Know Your Time Zones", we'll look at the Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time Zone and examine why some call it the crown jewel of the time zone fraternity. Thanks for watching, I'm Chuck Woolery, good night. Or, if you live in the Pacific Time Zone, good afternoon.
I think we can all agree that Eastern Time is much too "in your face" and strung out on an espresso buzz for anyone to live comfortably in.
