Different frogs, different times.
I can really appreciate the music that plays during the Special Features menu on some DVDs. As far as I know, they're all just short little snippets (10 seconds or less) played on an infinite loop, but I've really grown a fondness for a few of them. Nightmare Before Christmas comes to mind. But the king of this category is undoubtedly Chamber of Secrets. That Special Features menu music will forever remind me of Drew's old apartment, and specifically the dates May 11-16, 2003. That DVD was constantly playing that entire week, and when the movie ends the disc defaults to the Special Features menu. So during the night I would often wake up to see that screen and hear that music, and it would gently lull me back to sleep. Now that association is burned into my brain... The music for the Prisoner of Azkaban special features, on the other hand, is none too soothing. I made the mistake of falling asleep to that movie the other night, and after an hour or so of that looped music wreaking havoc on my dreams, I woke up around 4:30 in the A.M. and shut it off.
Surprised I blogged about that? I'm not.
Here's another entry for the random lyric stream:
[There's a beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Every morning I walk towards the edge and throw little things off.] I listen to the sounds they make on their way down. I follow with my eyes 'til they crash, imagine what my body would sound like
slamming against those rocks when it lands. Will my eyes be closed or open?
Yep, I guess it's a rule that if you have a short name that starts with 'B' and ends in 'K' then you're going to have some crazy lyrics.

Ah, I completely overlooked Brak, but he certainly fits the bill. Also, your comments are surely substantial enough to warrant your own blog. Stop kidding yourself.
The music from the Special Features menu of "Beaches" will forever remind me of you. Also, I thought you meant an artist whose initials were B.K. In that case, I thought you were going to go off on some sweet Brian Knight lyrics. Wait... is there a Brian Knight? Perhaps, and most likely, I am confused.
